On January 15, The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) co-organized with Business Research and Training Centre of Faculty of Business Administration (BRTC), held a one-day experience event for 47 students from Wuhan University as part of the Wuhan University 2025 Youth Development Training Program (Greater Bay Area Route).
The one-day program consisted of thematic lecture and campus visits. The lecture delivered entirely in English by experienced UM professor, covered topics such as an overview of Macau’s economy, development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, and Macau’s positioning and advantages within the region. These professional insights helped broaden the students’ perspectives and inspired critical thinking. In the afternoon, the participants went to SKL-IOTSC for campus visiting. Through this program, the students gained a deeper understanding of UM’s unique teaching methods and picturesque campus environment. They also experienced Macau’s distinctive blend of Chinese and Western cultures.
This event marked Wuhan University’s second short-term exchange program at UM, following the cross-border training program in May 2023. CCE and BRTC are continuing to provide qualified training programs for college students in the future, to foster deeper exchanges and closer cooperation between leading mainland universities and UM.
